There are quite a number of Thai Restaurants in Raleigh NC. They seem to split between real authentic Thai and Americanized-Thai. If you visit Thai restaurant, don’t forget to try Thai ice-tea which taste like black tea (without the bitter taste) and mixed with milk and sugar. The taste is unique from any other drink and is a really good complements to spicy dishes. Aside from Pad-Thai , which is the most popular dishes, you should try the infamous Tom-Yum Soup or Tom Kha Soup (both are spicy). Don’t forget to end the meal with Thai dessert such as Mango sticky rice, Egg Custard Sticky rice.
