  • Carmen’s Cuban Cafe 108 Factory Shops Road Morrisville, NC 27560.(919)467-8080. Great Cuban/Latin/Spanish food at reasonable price. Salsa dance offered. Located in the same shopping center as the outlet mall near RDU airport.

  • Greek Fiesta ($$)  Started in little airport outlet mall and grew to 4-5 stores now. The food is consistently good and their kabob is non-comparable by any other Mediterranean places around.

  • Little Tokyo ($$-$$$) Sushi Bar & Grill 1401-J S.E. Maynard Rd. Cary, NC 27511 (919) 467-5011. Don’t underestimate this little place in an old strip mall. The food is great and the price is quite reasonably relative to Japanese food.

There are hundreds of Mexican Restaurants in the Triangle. They offer reasonably priced food, home cook, and fast. The following are the ones with good reviews.

Mongolian Restaurants

Mongolian dishes are very similar to Chinese in their ingredients and the Stir Fry type of preparation. The few differences are in the fact that the Mongolian provides variety of sauces for you to pick and choose, as well as the type of meat. When you go in, you will pick an empty bowl and pack in as much fresh meat and vegetables that you can, topped with the sauce you like, then bring your bowl to the common cooking grill where the chef cooks it for you. Though the food is not much difference, the experience is. Some of them provide a big Gong for you to hit if you enjoy the food.

There are 3-4 Mongolian places in Raleigh area, they are pretty similar in the quality and price.

There are a few locations of Crazy Fire. One on Buck Jones Road in Cary, Another in North Raleigh (Leesville Rd) and another one near the Triangle Town Center in Raleigh North of Capital Blvd. The food is about same as Bali Hai but the restaurants are a bit newer (esp the one near Triangle Town Center)
