Shopping in Raleigh-Durham

Most of the stores in Raleigh are grouped together in a mall. I list out the all the ones I know of.

Bright Leaf Square Durham

Bright Leaf Square - Durham

Bright Leaf Square is a really cool place. It was a tobacco warehouse converted into a shopping mall. It preserves tobacco warehouse architecture and yet blend in modern style of design into the building. There are 10 stores to shop and 12 restaurants to choose from.. Make sure you stop by Morgan Import across the square while you are there.

Cameron Village (downtown Raleigh) one of the older shopping village downtown. Stores are spread out and not grouped together in a building. Since downtown is a more affluent neighborhood, this village offers some high end boutiques and products.

A Southern Season – Southern gourmet food and cooking supply store. It has a restaurant inside, as well as cooking school. The presentation and the arrangement in the store makes it such a pleasure to visit.
