The NCMA entered a new era in 2011 with the opening of its new gallery which features numerous outdoor sculpture gardens. The museum also features beautiful walking trailsaround it where people can walk or bike. The trail is decorated with artistic statues all around. And best of all it is free for general exhibition and there is an affordable fees for special exhibition such as Norman Rockwell exhibition.

North Carolina Museum of HistoryThe NCMH has interesting exhibitions about various topics pertaining to the history of the South. The Indian heritage, Nascar racing, Black Beard the Pirates , Sports in North Carolina, and history of the airplane – the Wright’s brothers. The admission is free.

North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences The NCMNS is a really fine place for adult and children alike. With 4 floors of exhibition starting from discovery room, tropical connections, prehistoric North Carolina, mountain cove, anthropod zoo, this is a fun place to visit and you can easily spend all day here. The admission is free.
