Duke University – is a must to visit whether or not you are planning to study there. Duke has one of the most beautiful architecture and stone buildings in the area. In addition. Duke Chapel and Sarah P. Duke garden is within walking distance. You can shoot 3 birds with one stone.
9th street- This is where college students from Duke hang out for food and stores.
There are many kinds of food of all price ranges on this street.Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) newly opened in 2010. This performing arts theater is the second place to be opened after Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in downtown Raleigh, allowing folks to enjoy performance of the same kind without having to travel to downtown Raleigh.
Eno River State Park – beautiful and secluded wilderness trails with the serenity of the Eno River. It is a great spot for hiking
