Fearington Village – Fearrington Village is an interesting combination of a planned community, a farm, restaurant and stores. It is located about 30 min away between Pittsboro and Chapel Hill, and it has few nice restaurants and delightful stores to shop. The belted cows they raised in the farm is so fun to watch as they appear like an artist has painted stripes on them.

Jordan Lake- Located about 30 min away.

Jordan lake is a state park that has all the outdoor activities you can enjoy. Read about this at our Outdoor page.

Carrboro – This is a town close to Chapel Hill. Since Chapel Hill has relatively high cost of living and housing, most of the students at UNC rent apartments in Carrboro which is less costly and yet close enough to get to the campus. This town has some interesting stores to look around.
